Hello! A bit about me...

I began my professional career as an artist in 2019. After being selected to exhibit three paintings to the Stewards Gallery at Clitheroe Castle, Ribble Valley.

Taking inspiration from nature.  I create intriguing and thought provoking pieces of art in acrylic and mixed media. This is usually, out in nature, immersed in my surroundings. It is only when taking a step back from the painting. I can then see shapes, figures and unusual animals appear that were unintentionally added. This intriguing element adds a magical extra ingredient to all of my paintings. Some people but not all can see this additional layer to my work. But my paintings can be appreciated as art is always a personal journey and is seen in very many different ways. Larger canvas work is carried out in my studio with sea views to inspire me.

This is why my work is always original as each painting is created with the layer of intrigue so is personal to the buyer.

My work is an atmospheric mixture of nature, emotional interpretation of what lies around me. This produces an exciting mix of discovery of contemporary abstract paintings in acrylic.
